Cross Walk Flags

The intersection at 9th Ave. & Columbia St. is accessed by various community groups, including seniors, business associates, children, dog walkers and more. Despite clearly painted marks on the road and bright safety signs, visibility is difficult due mainly to the parked cars on either side of the intersection. Attaching cross walk flags at each end of the cross walk is a low cost, but high impact change that will make it safer and more accessible to cross the street.
