Illuminate the 900 block of 20th Avenue East

About This Grant

The 900 block of 20th avenue East is a very active Seattle Play Street with 33 children mostly under the age of 10. Families on the block gather every Friday evening for a potluck and play. The community had the idea to hang lights in the trees to better illuminate the block so we can see our children at play during the months with shorter days. We are applying for a grant to pay for the lights so our community can continue to gather throughout the fall and winter months.
