In 2007, the Seattle Citywide Skate park Plan designated Rainier Beach Play field as a potential site for a District Skate park, with a recommended square footage of 10K to 30K. This project will perform a feasibility study of the site and recommend specific direction in the design and build of a free, public skate park at Rainier Beach.
