Eritrean Association Community Center Improvements

About This Grant

The Eritrean Association of Greater Seattle will be making repairs to the Eritrean Association's Community Center, located at 1954 S. Massachusetts St. The center is a vital hub for cultural activities and other community gatherings for the Eritrean community, the broader immigrant/refugee community, and surrounding neighbors. This project, will improve the Community Center by repairing issues in the parking lot and main hall. There will be a tree removal, concrete and fencing repair, 2) address drainage issues, regrading and asphalting, and 3) replacement of exit gate. There will also be window replacement in the main hall, surface repairs and repainting. These improvements will keep the community space safe and in working order for community use. This project will be completed by late fall 2022.
