About This Grant

Project L.I.T. by Star Tech Global Academy will engage youth in multimedia art projects that uplift community spaces and connect with community leaders. This free project will be in hybrid format with both virtual and in-person participation in 3 Teen Centers across Seattle: Garfield, Rainier Beach, and Southwest Teen Life Center. Community members will be recruited as project staff to guide teens through workshops that teach leadership, community building, and multimedia design skills. Hands-on workshops will connect youth with role models and spotlight their work to improve community spaces and motivate to Lead, Inspire, and Transform (L.I.T.).
