About This Grant

Our Hope for Christmas Community Event, set to take place on December 15th, 2024, at the Smilow Rainier Vista Boys & Girls Club, is a collaborative endeavor aimed at celebrating African American culture and fostering unity among individuals of diverse backgrounds. This inclusive and free event welcomes all members of the public, providing a platform for the South Seattle community to come together, plan, and execute a meaningful gathering that promotes inclusivity and neighborly connections. By engaging 500+ residents of different nationalities and faiths, the event seeks to create a sense of togetherness and shared celebration during the holiday season. Through proactive outreach efforts, we will ensure broad community involvement and participation in this enriching and unifying Hope for Christmas Community Event.
