Central Area Block Party

About This Grant

The 23rd Ave Action Core Team will organize and host the Central Area Block Party on Cherry Street between 23rd and 25th Avenues in September 2015. This free public festival will focus on building and maintaining community in a diverse neighborhood undergoing a high volume of transition. The one-day event will highlight local businesses, preserve historic identity through cultural art displays and performances, and engage the broader community in City development and planning processes.
