Citywide Skate Park Activation

About This Grant

Skate Like a Girl will do a six-month project to recruit, train, and post ten adult volunteer stewards at skate parks throughout Seattle, including Hubbard Homestead, Ballard, Lower Woodland, Seattle Center, Jefferson, Judkins, Roxhill, and Delridge, during the summer of 2016. An orientation will connect stewards-in-training with Youth Employment Skateboarding (YES) teen volunteer skateboarders. A Community Celebration of Service will be held at the All Together Indoor Skatepark in the fall.
