About This Grant

Abstract Support is requested for a Keystone Symposia conference entitled “Hematopoiesis,” organized by Drs. Vijay G. Sankaran, Anna E. Beaudin and Esther Obeng, with scientific programming input from Keystone Symposia. The meeting will take place February 23–26, 2026 at the Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado, USA. Hematopoiesis is a fundamental biological process that underlies the production of all blood and immune cells, and consequently drives immune function, oxygen transport, and tissue homeostasis. Alterations in hematopoiesis can lead to a wide spectrum of disorders and conditions ranging from anemia to immunodeficiencies, inflammatory disorders and blood cancers. Given the vital role of hematopoiesis in health and disease, this conference will explore the molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern blood cell development and maintenance, highlight the latest technological advances in the field and underscore the broader
