Uptown Summer: Environmental Stewards of North Troy

About This Grant

To support “Uptown Summer,� a program for economically disadvantaged inner-city urban youth, addresses our community’s public health through the development of hands-on stewardship projects on our environmental education campus.  The program encourages a connection to “healing� the urban environment, integrating ecology and art to expand our at-risk communities' knowledge around harms and risks, and to create substantial improvements to benefit the environmentally devastated conditions in North Troy.
