We are organizing a neighborhood outdoor movie night in partnership with the Meadowbrook Community Council. We want to bring all our neighbors in Mathews Beach and Meadowbrook neighborhood out to mingle and have fun in a family oriented evening event. We will have a screen and projector set up at one end of the street, featuring a family friendly movie, as well as snacks and non alcoholic beverages. We will also hold a food drive for North Helpline, our local emergency food bank.

Barton Place Apartments

Install a new computer mini-lab with two computers and a printer in an SHA housing building in Rainier Beach. Low-income residents will gain computer skills through drop-in sessions and instructor-led classes.

Provide open lab time for the low income residents of Jefferson Terrace and offer basic and intermediate computer instruction in multiple languages. Funds will add digital media class instruction for photography and video.

Barton Street P-Patch

Barton P- Patch located at the SW corner of Barton St SW and 34th Ave SW is well used by the growing and diverse neighborhood. This project will replace and install new gravel path that will meet the ADA standards and will upgrade the blueberry drip system. The projected project completion date is May 31, 2021.
